I think quite a few people enjoyed my i-mate JAQ3 first impressions article and I personally found the device to be pretty decent. However, I am smitten with my T-Mobile Dash and just can’t give up it’s slim size and speedy response so I am giving away the JAQ3 to one lucky Mobile Gadgeteer reader. BTW, the i-mate JAQ3 currently runs Windows Mobile 5, but an update to Windows Mobile 6 should be available for JAQ3 owners in the next few months so you can get this and upgrade to WM 6 soon.
Since the device sells for over US$500 I am making this giveaway a bit challenging, but not impossible by any means. Simply visit the i-mate JAQ3 giveaway gallery, check out the photos of the 12 device keyboards, and then email me your answers to what devices those keyboards are found on. Send your email to me at palmsoloATgmailDOTcom with the words JAQ3 Giveaway in the subject line. If more than one person gets all 12 correct then those people will be entered into a random drawing for the i-mate JAQ3. This giveaway runs from 18 February until Saturday, 3 March. I’ll announce the winner on the 5th and ship out the device soon after.
I will ship the device to the winner anywhere in the world too so no one is excluded, but any local taxes or customs duties are the responsibility of the winner. The device is like brand new and was only used for about 20 hours. I don’t offer any type of warranty or anything, but the device is new from i-mate so you can always contact them if you have any problems in the future.
Legal speak stuff: This is considered a promotional giveaway and not a contest and even if you consider it a contest I am meeting all the requirements of a contest as I found on Google from the State of California and other Google results. Google and the State of California have nothing to do with this contest and I am not responsible for your heartache or pain suffered if you do not happen to be drawn as the giveaway recipient. This is a free giveaway and does not require any payment or obligation from you. If you send in a response and don’t want to be considered, then let me know in advance of the giveaway ending. I will disclose what random number the generator chose and the first name of the recipient on this blog.

What ever happend to the 13th picture? And was the needed subject changed? If I remember, yesterday it was “ZDNet Contest” and not “JAQ3 Giveaway”.
BTW, “Geeking for Jesus”, that’s just too cool!
LORD Bless you,
-Timothy

Timothy,
The 13th picture was just a small image needed for the image gallery tag on ZDNet. The ZDNet editors contacted me and said there may be legal issues with running a giveaway on their site so asked me to pull it. I thought it was a fun contest and didn’t want to affect those that already sent in entries so I just moved it to my personal blog.
They are working with their legal team to try to figure out how to do contests, but until that time I may just giveaway stuff here on my blog.

Anyone figure out how to do a cut/paste on a Dash? This is the one thing stopping me from buying this device.
