Dude, you rock! Thanks for all this. I found your post on the Parallels Desktop Mac forum, then Googling for “USB Switch” sent me here.

FYI, I used it successfully on my MacBook Pro 17″ with Parallels Desktop Build 1848, with a Sprint PPC-6700 and ActiveSync 4.2.

The developers of The Missing Sync emailed me and there is a brand new update to the program that fixed many USB issues people were having. It should work now on your Mac without having to worry about using USBSwitch at all.

I’ve just installed USB Switch in an O2 Atom Exec. Program loads, switched to serial and then Missing Sync doesn’t recognise the PDA. Switch back to RNDIS and immediately connect (with VERY slow sync). Any ideas? Btw, Bluetooth sync works but is not that much faster than USB RNDIS. This will be great if it works.

How did you get this to work through Missing Sync? Are you referring to the beta version for WM5 Missing Sync sw? Please let me know as I am losing my mind on how to get it to sync without tons of errors and dupes.

Thanks for posting USBSwitch on your blog! Somehow I can’t get to it anyway else (I have a Mac-only environment ) As I have spend evenings on end to get the alpha Missing Sync to work and finally did’nt I was already contemplating using another PIM altogether, but this seems to work!
